Summary The Managing Director, Safeguarding is a mission critical leadership role that has overall accountability for ensuring Save the Children US (SCUS) meets its safeguarding obligations to children and adults served by agency programs. The role is responsible for: Leading a team that manages Agency systems and processes relating to the safety of children and adults served by the Agency’s domestic (U.S.) programming, including training, reporting, investigation and case management. Being the primary point of contact for the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board on matters relating to child and adult safeguarding. The proactive identification and mitigation of risks related to child and adult safeguarding. Embedding child and adult safeguarding best practices in our workforce, and the design and delivery of programs.  Ensuring SCUS’s policies and procedures align with the Save the Children Global Child Safeguarding Protocol, and contributing to the further development of Save the Children movement standards and practices related to safeguarding. What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties) Program Leadership and Development: (20%)  Develop and oversee a framework for addressing risks to the safeguarding of children and adults served by SCUS programs, in coordination with agency leadership and other Divisions. Provide subject-matter expertise and leadership for organization-wide action plans to enhance child and adult safeguarding practice based upon internal and external audit findings or other assessments. Report child and adult safeguarding-related incidents, trends, and action plans to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, as appropriate. Present to and influence multiple staff constituencies, at all seniority levels including Senior Leadership Team, on child and adult safety best practice, requirements and processes. Train, develop, coach, lead, and supervise staff, clearly communicating organization, division and department priorities, and how their work contributes to our mission, ensuring that the working environment continually fosters diversity, inclusion, and belonging – supporting Save the Children values. Prevention:  (20%)  Review and update the Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures. Identify, assess, and monitor safeguarding risk areas across the organization, and work collaboratively across Divisions to implement risk mitigation and management processes. Manage the review, update, and operationalization of a risk management framework for child and adult safeguarding. Oversee the development and delivery of safeguarding-related training for all staff, volunteers, focal points, partner, and other relevant contacts of the Agency. Reporting: (20%)  Accountable for ensuring that all child and adult safeguarding incidents or near misses arising from SCUS’s domestic and international programs are reported in accordance with the applicable policies and procedures. Provide overall management and support in relation to child safety incident reports in Save the Children US, Save the Children Head Start, and Save the Children Action Network and liaises with the Safeguarding Trustee as appropriate.  Proactively manage reporting on serious incidents, reporting metrics, emerging risks and trend analysis providing reporting to Senior Leadership Team and Board as required.  In coordination with other Divisions, manage reporting of child and adult safeguarding matters to external agencies, consistent with donor requirements and applicable laws. Lead SCUS reporting, interaction and influencing with US Government and major donors on all child and adult safeguarding reporting matters.  Aligned with the organization's Code of Ethics and commitment to reporting, lead a team that serves as a resource to all staff to answer questions on reporting requirements and procedures. Response & Case Management Leadership  (20%)  Manage, and support the Safeguarding team to conduct safeguarding investigations in an appropriate, timely, and survivor-centered way. Investigate (or coordinate with an external investigator) serious incidents.  In coordination with other Divisions, communicate with relevant federal/state/local child services agencies and law enforcement authorities as required.  Ensure that the Agency case management system for incident reporting and investigations is updated and maintained. Manage the review child safeguarding critical incidents to identify lessons learned and strengthen existing processes. Systems: (20%) Ensure all Agency systems and processes relating to child and adult safeguarding are comprehensive and working effectively, including systems relating to domestic programming site visits, partner assessments, safe programming and non-programming events. Support the Agency process for background checks for employees, consultants and program visitors. Keep updated on industry developments to ensure Agency systems are current and responsive to relevant risks.

Overview Jhpiego seeks a Health Program Technical Director to support an anticipated five-year, multi-country, PEPFAR/CDC-funded project to strengthen the capacity of host-country governments and non- governmental organizations to sustainably combat HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis.  The primary objective of this project is to support countries to sustain low levels of HIV incidence while supporting greater ownership and management of projects. The Health Program Technical Director will have the overall responsibility of leading the design and implementation of programs to advance the CDC’s goal of transitioning local PEPFAR and other health partners to direct awards. They will regularly work with PEPFAR stakeholders and local institutions to develop individual, organizational and systems learning initiatives that best position local organizations to assume leadership as prime implementing partners, MEL, and award management activities. The position will oversee the technical work of Jhpiego staff and resource partners in target countries.     The Health Program Technical Director will be based in one of Jhpiego’s country-based offices in sub-Saharan Africa and international travel will be required. ASIMO South Sudan is looking for a suitably qualified South Sudanese national to fill the position for  Livelhoods Program Manager based in Juba South Sudan.     The Livelihoods Program manager will lead the implementation of livelihoods response programming to promote more resilient livelihoods in order to increase people’s autonomy, enabling them to generate income that meets their basic needs, even in times of crisis. therefore, applicants are encouraged to apply and job holder will become part of the ASIMO working team in   livelihoods Response program and integrated Gender Based Voilence intervention. MAIN TASKS AND DUTIES. Coordinate with various clusters and implementing agencies to ensure effective representation in providing project feedback and ensure smooth collaboration on policy and service delivery in respective geographic areas. Conduct regular follow-up and provide support to VSLAs graduates to see if they are applying the technologies and practices and provide technical assistance where there are gaps. Capacity building of VSLAs or MSEs groups in all the program areas of intervention. Co Work closely in teamwork with livelihoods and integrated protection team as well as other program teams such as cash for work, agriculture, and Logistics, finance, and Health. Develop detailed project plans with associated milestones and work with internal and external personnel to ensure goals are met. Manage multiple work streams and projects, allocating resources across them in the most efficient manner to deliver to project plans Maintains and facilitates accurate and timely project reporting of multi Sectors in collaboration with other staff and state focal persons. Prepare reporting documentations including but not limited to weekly, Monthly Updates, Quarterly Reports. Work with Logistics & Procurement team to prevent stock outages and ensure stock requests, purchase requests, cash forecasts and movement requests are submitted appropriately on timely for the field offices. Compile the clusters 5Ws reports and submit on timley. Write or compile ToRs, MOUs, and reports, and send to the head of programs for approval. Updating the dashboard with household follow up progress through the project phase and Supervising, monitoring and tracking livelihoods  activities.

About CHAI’s Global HIV Access Program (HAP)   Since 2002, CHAI has been a leader in expanding and accelerating access to HIV treatment, reducing the cost of drugs and diagnostic tests, and strengthening the capacity of governments to help prevent and diagnose HIV and treat people living with HIV (PLHIV). CHAI’s simultaneous engagement on the supply and demand sides of the market, and our end-to-end, holistic support to national HIV programs is helping to address barriers that prevent people living in LMICs from accessing the best available treatment and prevention services. Recent highlights of our work include negotiating a landmark pricing deal for TLD, an optimal treatment regimen containing dolutegravir – the best available HIV treatment, accelerating its introduction across dozens of LMICs, and delivering over US $1.6B in savings. Over the years, CHAI has also played a particularly important role in the marketplace for pediatric antiretroviral therapy, substantially expanding access to appropriate drugs and diagnostics to meet the unique needs of children. Overview of the Director, Pediatric & Adolescent HIV Role   We are hiring a Director, Pediatric & Adolescent HIV who will drive CHAI’s overall pediatric and adolescent HIV and eMTCT strategy, set ambitious goals, and support country-level implementation of the strategy to turn the vision into demonstrable results. The Director will lead a team focused on ensuring that CHAI’s response in the pediatric HIV space is comprehensive, cohesive, and achieves tangible results across key outcomes (such as testing coverage, case identification rates, treatment coverage, viral load coverage, retention in care, and viral load suppression). The Director is responsible for ensuring that children and adolescents living with HIV are always prioritized in CHAI’s overall HIV response. The Director will partner with various internal stakeholders at the global and country level to prioritize areas where CHAI could have a significant impact, build consensus and alignment on these priorities and goals, help develop fundraising efforts around those priorities, and collaborate with relevant individuals to designs program interventions to achieve those goals. The success of this position is defined by the demonstration of tangible improvements in key pediatric HIV outcomes in countries where CHAI is engaged. The Director will oversee CHAI’s pediatric program grant portfolio, work closely with internal partners, and coordinate with external partners to achieve program goals.   We are seeking a highly motivated individual with deep passion and commitment to achieving ambitious goals for children and adolescents living with HIV. The right candidate will be a mission-driven person with outstanding leadership and management skills, extensive implementation experience in LMICs, exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills, and deep commitment to contributing towards achieving CHAI’s HIV strategic goals. The Director will be a seasoned, trusted leader who is expected to build strong relationships with CHAI country teams, Ministry of Health counterparts, and local and global partner organizations. The Director will build consensus among a range of stakeholders and independently find creative solutions to challenges that delay progress towards program goals. The Director must be able to function independently and flexibly, prioritize across multiple workstreams, lead a diverse team, and excel in working with CHAI country teams. Responsibilities Strategy development and resource mobilization Lead the development and implementation of CHAI’s pediatric and adolescent HIV and eMTCT strategy. Develop innovative concepts and proactively identify opportunities to raise funds to execute against CHAI’s pediatric and adolescent HIV strategy and goals. Work to identify and engage new donors for CHAI’s pediatric HIV agenda. Management of the pediatric program portfolio Translate CHAI’s overall strategy and vision into concrete deliverables and design programs that are set up to demonstrate improvements in pediatric outcomes. Serve as a trusted, accessible advisor to governments and CHAI country teams on a variety of pediatric HIV topics. Monitor progress to ensure the achievement of program goals, targets, and objectives; problem-solve and refine CHAI’s approach as required. Engage with CHAI country leadership and program teams to align on approaches, problem solve, provide technical and analytical support, track progress, and ensure pediatric HIV continues to be prioritized. Ensure that we put affected communities – in this case, children and adolescents living with HIV – at the center of all we do, through meaningful community engagement and partnership. Donor & grant management Establish and maintain strong relationships and communication with donors on pediatric-focused grants. Ensure execution against grant priorities, targets, and deliverables. Team & People Management Build a motivated, results-driven and dedicated team of strategic thinkers who can work across the matrix to ensure outcomes for children living with HIV improve in program countries. Foster the continuous growth and performance of all direct reports through active coaching and leadership that blends high expectations with intensive support and empathy. Manage operational and administrative aspects of the team and projects, including timely and accurate reporting of results to donors, budgeting, and recruitment. As part of the HAP Leadership Team, help to shape the culture and dynamics of Global HAP through regular communication and activities that build team effectiveness and cohesion across geographies and work streams. Role model the values and mission of CHAI and the behavior norms of Global HAP. Collaboration with internal stakeholders Develop a trusted relationship and dialogue with program leads on other CHAI teams working on pediatric and adolescent focused projects to foster collaboration and ensure alignment on priorities, strategies, processes, and objectives. Stay up-to-date on developments across relevant CHAI programs to identify synergies and opportunities where CHAI can magnify impact. Collaboration with global pediatric partners Manage and build strong relationships with the broad ecosystem of global pediatric partners to identify gaps, design approaches, implement strategies, monitor impact, and continuously improve the strategic programmatic agenda of CHAI’s pediatric response. Make positive and useful contributions to the overall pediatric HIV landscape and continue to cement CHAI’s role as an important partner in the pediatric space across diagnosis and treatment. Represent CHAI in international fora on pediatric and adolescent HIV and eMTCT.
