Job Summary: The Infectious Diseases (ID) department is a global team with experts who have extensive knowledge in tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, COVID-19, global health security, emerging infectious diseases, among others and are committed to strengthening infectious disease capacity across the world. The Associate Director, Infectious Diseases Business Development Strategies and Partnerships Strategic, will oversee the ID department business development portfolio to support department’s growth strategy goals and objectives. The position will evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, and alliances to make recommendations for new projects to be used for strategic business decisions. They will provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives including analyzing new market areas. In conjunction with ID department director and senior division directors, they will plan and evaluate projects by determining market opportunities, development of new industries, customers, territories, etc., determining the project's financial viability and planning a marketing strategy.
