MISSION: Receiving requests for assistance or problem report from users; Perform level 1 problem diagnostics; Invoking the proper support mechanism for reported problem; Manage information related to the incidents in the Helpdesk system. Key Task: Run the steps/tasks of the operation procedures for carrying on support tasks; Be the first point of contact to all employees for all desktop related incidents; Ensures that all incidents and service requests are managed through their entire lifecycle through to resolution all within SLA; Provides first line support in person, on the phone and/or via remote access, assigning the incident to the correct Level 2 or Level 3 support team where appropriate and after initial diagnostics have been performed; E-mail and directory services maintenance and the management of the asset database; Install and maintain computers and printers in the domain, and make sure that they are all connected and using the domain features; Install and configure applications as Oracle, Pheb, inventory, CRM, finance Sage, antivirus, Microsoft Office, etc…; Make regular checks and updates on the antivirus to make sure that domain PCs are always safe for viruses; Setup new user accounts for new employees and configure their email accounts with Outlook; Provide assistance and work in projects...
