Training Officer Tax Academy

AFRICAN TAX ADMINISTRATION FORUM (ATAF)

The Training Officer will be accountable for coordination of all courses under the academy as well as ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Academy’s delivery in terms of such indicators as penetration, completion, and impact. Activities:   a. Development of Training Programmes To design and develop required training courses according to standard by conducting topic research, preparing thoroughly, aligning with approved accreditation frameworks, agreeing training approach and methodology, developing training and securing sign-off prior to the training date. To support the continuous development and relevance of training programmes by identifying training gaps and needs, recommending the applicable training content and platform, developing the training material and implementing according to set timelines. To provide advice on potential training, professional development strategies and appropriate training and development interventions by liaising with relevant departments understanding ATAF’s strategic goals, understanding member training needs and identifying where existing training is misaligned or not in existence as required and on an annual basis.
