Mining Lab Technician Anglophone

BRAIN MANAGEMENT

The Mining Lab Technician performs a variety of routine analytical and physical testing on mining materials, research and development samples and finished products. The technician also makes detailed observations and provides basic interpretation of data and accurate reporting of results. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: •Prepares rock feed samples for flotation  •Tests all reagents, both fatty acid and amine blends, in order to meet R&D specifications and optimize performance •Assists in all R&D flotation as needed, with either “hands on” floating or blending reagents •Assists with  mining analytics  •Maintains lab equipment and supplies •Very occasional travel out of state (once or twice a year) as needed
