The primary role of a Tier 1 and 2 Technician is to supervise an array of technical projects related to the composition, maintenance, and support of Far Out Solutions. The Tier 2 technician provides the second level of backing to the end-users by handling service requests that have been escalated by lower tiers. Support will be catered onsite, remotely, over the phone or via email. They will be required to develop solutions for network, desktop, and server problems. They will have the ability to evaluate existing systems and make proactive endorsements for improvements. Establish, cultivate, and carry out all systems, applications, and networking configurations. The position includes the reinforcement of various desktop, laptop, local, and network printers and other units. Essential Duties: Provides resolution for escalated service tickets Works with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend and implement system changes Configures and supports internal and/or external networks Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations Troubleshoots network performance Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment Maintains a log of completed work using an incident-tracking...
