Background: African Parks is a non-profit conservation organization that takes on the complete responsibility for the rehabilitation and long-term management of national parks in partnership with governments and local communities. Founded in the year 2000, AP currently manages 22 national parks and protected areas in 12 countries covering 20 million hectares. in partnership with governments and local communities. Primary Purpose: To provide Law Enforcement training, mentoring, and empowering capability to park-based Field Operations Managers, Heads of Law Enforcement, Park Instructors, and their Law Enforcement teams, through the delivery of refresher leadership / mentoring and specialist training, according to African Parks Standard Operating Procedures and Law Enforcement training packages; To assist the African Parks Head of Law Enforcement in the continuous development and implementation of all Law Enforcement Standard Operating Procedures and training manuals.
