It is estimated that 1.3 million children will be affected by acute malnutrition in 2020 in South Sudan. Background For over 25 years, the IRC has been one of the largest providers of humanitarian assistance, delivering emergency relief and post-conflict assistance since 1989. Today, the IRC provides services for more than 900,000 people, delivering lifesaving care and life-changing assistance in 8 locations across four states in South Sudan. Nine years of South Sudan crisis have left the country in dire need.
