Job Summary The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) works in 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, DRC, Cameroon, Niger, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Botswana, Rwanda focusing on land conservation, conservation enterprise, education, and wildlife protection and management. AWF’s mission is to ensure wildlife and wild lands thrive in modern Africa. The African Wildlife Foundation is implementing a project in the Save Valley Conservancy (SVC) and surrounding communal areas in Zimbabwe’s South Eastern Lowveld (SEL) forming part of the Greater Limpopo Trans-Frontier Conservation Area. The broad project objectives are to increase the ability of communities and systems to adapt and recover from shocks and stresses, reducing chronic vulnerability and facilitating inclusive growth and private sector engagement. Position Summary The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the successful implementation of the USAID funded Resilience ANCHORS project focused on Save Valley Conservancy but shall also represent AWF in the south east lowveld of Zimbabwe and support the development of a multi-faceted programme in the SVC landscape and greater south east lowveld region.
