Job description: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a non-political, non-profit, non-religious humanitarian organization providing assistance to refugees, displaced and the vulnerable population around the world. The IRC implements programs to promote durable solutions for displaced persons, refugees and host populations by providing lifesaving interventions and emergency assistance in health/nutrition, safety, education, economic recovery and power. The IRC has been working with refugees since 1933, and is present in 40 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia, as well as in the USA, as part of a resettlement support program. The IRC is an organization committed to freedom, human dignity and self-reliance. This commitment is translated into quality resettlement assistance, comprehensive emergency aid, rehabilitation and advocacy for refugees and vulnerable households. The IRC has developed a new global strategy called S100 which is being operationalized at country level since 2021. Through this strategy, the IRC has redefined it's mission while setting out clear operational and organizational ambitions and commitments to strengthen its mandate in humanitarian emergencies and post-conflict situations.
