The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project for Public Financial Governance – Phase II (RISPFG) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant to payments under the contract for Strategy Development, Monitoring and Evaluation Expert. Governance Financing Agreement reference: 2100155042069 Project ID No.: P-Z1-KFO-075 The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project for Public Financial Governance – Phase II (RISPFG) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant to payments under the contract for a Long term Expert on Tax Information System. The services included under this project are improving income tax policy and administration in African countries by providing expert advice, support and training to tax officials, developing effective income tax policies and regulations, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Long term Expert on Tax Information System will manage the programme of projects and activities to meet the ATAF’s strategic objectives in this regard. The Long term Expert on Tax Information System will be responsible for establishing, implementing, developing, and aligning to best practices and projects throughout the organization. This includes defining and documenting IT TAS project lifecycles to deliver projects according to plan, within budget and creating formal methodologies for defining project key performance metrics and resource allocation.

African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project on Public Financial Governance (RISPFG). The Short-Term Expert /Consultant will assist ATAF to develop a database of firm level tax statistics obtained from African countries on indicators related to the taxation of the digital economy, under Pillar1 and 2 of the OECD Inclusive Framework. The expert will also help the Domestic Resource Mobilisation team at ATAF to develop analytics tools that can be customised to the needs of African countries and used to analyse the firm level data from African tax administrations. The expert will help develop selected ATAF members’ skills in collecting the necessary data for analysis of the implications of the OECD Inclusive Framework Pillar Two Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules.
