The Transfer Pricing Specialist is to support African countries through providing expert guidance, advice and support in analysis of complex cross border transactions while mitigating risk factors and providing advice on legislation and regulatory reforms. The Specialist will also be responsible for the identification and development of African transfer pricing talent in member judications.

Short-Term Expert In Depth Study On Digitisation

AFRICAN TAX ADMINISTRATION FORUM (ATAF)

African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project on Public Financial Governance (RISPFG). The  Short-Term Expert /Consultant will assist ATAF to develop a database of firm level tax statistics obtained from African countries on indicators related to the taxation of the digital economy, under Pillar1 and 2 of the OECD Inclusive Framework. The expert will also help the Domestic Resource Mobilisation team at ATAF to develop analytics tools that can be customised to the needs of African countries and used to analyse the firm level data from African tax administrations. The expert will help develop selected ATAF members’ skills in collecting the necessary data for analysis of the implications of the OECD Inclusive Framework Pillar Two Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules.

Long term Expert on Tax Information System will manage the programme of projects and activities to meet the ATAF’s strategic objectives in this regard. The Long term Expert on Tax Information System will be responsible for establishing, implementing, developing, and aligning to best practices and projects throughout the organization. This includes defining and documenting IT TAS project lifecycles to deliver projects according to plan, within budget and creating formal methodologies for defining project key performance metrics and resource allocation.
