Job Description Background The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. IRC has been working in Ethiopia since 1999 and is implementing integrated, community-managed programs aimed at improving the quality of lives and recovery of livelihood of the disaster-affected populations through promoting individual participation, strengthening institutions, and emergency response. Position Overview The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is looking for a dynamic, analytical, and highly motivated individual for the position of MEAL Manager to be based at Shire Field Office. The position requires an experience in NGO in design, management, monitoring, evaluation, and client responsiveness mechanisms, tracking systems/tools, M&E software and processes and setting client responsiveness mechanism in emergency, collect and respond for client's feedback and compliant timely. Purpose of Job Responsible for all the Finance and Administrative Function of the office which include financial reporting, budget preparation, maintaining accurate and complete data in the general ledger and trial balances in line with the AU financial rules and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).   Main Functions •    Manage budget, payments, accounting, procurement, human resources and risk management functions of the Office; •    Provide support in the preparation and implementation of the programmes developed out of the Office’s strategic plan; •    Ensure effective coordination and implementation at various levels; •    Prepare and develop reports, budget and work programmes related to the functioning of the Office; •    Provide support to develop resource mobilization strategy with stakeholder’s coordination; •    Manage and supervise employees under his/her supervision with regard to organization and performance evaluation; •    Conduct complex analysis and generate accurate reports in a timely manner for the Office and AU’s internal use; •    Perform Human Resource management functions; •    Coordinate and manage all the activities of the procurement function within the Office; •    Keep accurate financial records. •    Review and deal appropriately with accounts receivable....
