Research, Evaluation & Monitoring Officer

The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of our programs, as well as promoting accountability and learning across the organization. Reporting to the CDC Specialist, the successful candidate will work closely with program staff and partners to develop and implement robust MEAL systems and processes that contribute to evidence-based decision-making and program improvement. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including indicators, data collection tools, and reporting mechanisms, in collaboration with program teams. Coordinate data collection activities, ensuring that data is collected systematically and accurately, and that ethical and gender-sensitive approaches are applied. Lead the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to assess program performance, identify trends, and measure outcome and impacts. Facilitate regular review meetings with program staff and partners to discuss MEAL findings, share lessons learned, and make recommendations for program adaptation and improvement Support the design and implementation of baseline surveys, midterm reviews, and end of project evaluations, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
