START-UP TEAM LEAD, MAURITANIA NAFOORE. General Position Summary The Start-Up Team Lead coordinates all the start-up activities during the initial 2-4 month start-up phase. This includes the development of an integrated and comprehensive work plan, coordination of financial and personnel resources, operational set-up, and supervision of the program start-up team. The Start-Up Team Lead bridges the gap between the program’s start-up needs and the existing and available country and regional team’s capacity and resources. Essential Responsibilities Operational Start-Up Support the rapid country opening team in ensuring all operational, financial, and legal requirements are met to ensure a smooth registration and opening of the Mauritania program. Support the subaward process with identified partners, including the pre-award assessment of financial responsibility, negotiating subaward budgets and scopes of work, and liaising with HQ support departments to execute the agreements. Work closely with the COP, the Finance Manager and others to ensure that all operational departments are working in close collaboration with programs to facilitate smooth, efficient and effective program implementation.
