Department: Administration, Human Resources and Technical Accreditation Location: EAM Mauritania Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility): Administration and Human Resources Assistant will provide office support to the national Admin, HR and Technical Accreditation Manager by maintaining employees files, drafting correspondence, and performing various other administrative functions. The location of this role will be in Elite Agro office in Nouakchott. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Supports human resources department by screening and reviewing new positions applicants. 2. Prepares payroll by calculating pay, distributing checks, and maintaining payroll records. 3. Provides orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents. 4. Maintains human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination and change in job classifications as well as tracking vacation, and sick leaves. 5. Administers employee benefit (example: medical insurance) programs by collecting information, helping with employees’ files completion, verifying submission to the institutions as per legal requirements. 6.
