Department: Aftout Farm Division: Operations Location: EAM Mauritania Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility): The Agricultural Machinery Workshop Manager is responsible for the full operations, allocation, maintenance spares and stocks purchase, of all farm machinery. The full up-keep, maintenance, diagnostics, service planning and schedules required to keep machinery 100% operational. Work allocation and duties of all machine mechanics, operators and drivers. Reporting to the farm manager all machinery operations and maintenance requirements. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Service and Repair 200 Hp tractors and 50 Hp tractors having knowledge of the safe operation of agricultural tractors. 2. Safety check and physical check of all farm machinery before usage. 3. Service and repair towed Machines, such as bailers, trailers, harvesters, mowers. 4. Sound experience of agricultural machinery breakdowns, failures and excellent ability to diagnose faults, repair and fit new parts. 5. Manage a team of mechanics, fitters, welders and operators. 6. Set up service schedules, and maintenance plans for all agricultural Machinery. 7. Keep stocks and spares required for frequent servicing and break downs. 8.
