Chief Risk Officer Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Contribute to the development of the bank’s overall risk management vision, strategy and policy Work in close collaboration with other Chief Risk Officer to define the Standard Bank Group approach to enterprise risk management. Develop the specific risk management approach for the business line, in alignment with the overall approach. This includes the strategy,framework and approach for all risk types –credit, funding and liquidity, operational, capital management, regulatory compliance, market, insurance, environmental, reputational, country and people risks. Define the scorecards and measures to assess and report on risks across the different risk types. Drive the development of the key risk indicators, within the overall group framework, for the business line including the definition of the risk, evaluating potential likelihood and impact and determining the correct level of economic capital to support.Drive the process of setting the risk appetite in the business line by facilitating the exco definition of key risks, defining the tolerance thresholds, control framework and the approach to dealing with residual risks.
