Position Summary: Under the guidance of the Director General NPHL and ICAP Technical director, the Senior Laboratory Advisor will provide technical support to the strengthen laboratory systems. This technical assistance is designed to enhance the quality of laboratory testing services, systems development and sustainability. The incumbent will closely collaborate with the NPHL and its stakeholders to enhance the institutional capacity to provide quality diagnostic and surveillance services for all diseases. Specific Duties and Responsibilities  The incumbent will provide technical support to the NPHL and Ministry of Health on laboratory systems strengthening strategies, and activities to improve the diagnostic capacity in the country. S/he will support the development of national guidelines, policies, manuals, tools, training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs) required to guide laboratory operations in the country.
