Main tasks and responsabilities: Establish, manage, and update the programme’s finance management systems, procedures, regular accountancy as well as relevant processes leading to efficient financial management, controlling and reporting. Ensure high quality and timely reporting and compliance measures towards the organisational and donor requirements. Provide advice, extend technical backstopping, support and train the operational team and partners on financial management and monitoring, thereby contributing to a high-quality financial adherence and oversight of the program and partners. Guide and support the Programme Management in ensuring compliance with national regulatory requirements, internal control system as well as donor financial rules and processes. Ensure integration of programme’s financial systems and processes with that of organisational systems and processes through regular coordination with other organisational units within FCO Head Quarters. Lead and coordinate the programme audit process, ensure timely follow up of audit recommendations as well as oversight of Partners audit and guidance.
