Primary responsibility: Under remote supervision, oversees the implementation and administration of programs, protocols, and procedures to ensure the maintenance of the safety, health, and environment of Capital Drilling. Ensures site compliance with all local occupational safety, health, and environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines, as well as with Capital Drilling’s environmental, health, and safety and environmental policies and procedures. Duties & Responsibilities: Trains and advises employees regarding environmental, health and safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations Conducts regular routine inspections of all buildings, facilities, and equipment for compliance with general and specific safety standards; reports non-compliance and/or hazardous conditions and recommends remedial action as appropriate Develops and implements on-site environment, health, and safety protocols and procedures, in accordance with Capital Drilling’s policies and regulatory requirements Conducts on-site investigations of accidents and incidents involving fire, hazardous materials, unsafe situations, and/or non-compliance issues; prepares reports and makes recommendations for procedural changes as necessary Serves as Hazardous Waste Disposal Officer for the site; inspects, evaluates, and...
