Investigator- Short-Term Consultant

The Short-Term Consultant (STC) will be assigned to the Integrity Vice Presidency’s Investigations and Forensic Audit under the supervision of the Head of the INT’s Internal Investigation Unit (IIU). The STC’s duties and accountabilities will include co-leading and leading, as appropriate, preliminary inquiries and investigations, supporting Senior Investigators in complex investigations, developing complaints, assisting IIU with legal, policy, and organizational issues; and serve as back-end quality assurance for all IIU work product that leave the unit. The STC will undertake the following activities: SCOPE OF SERVICES IN IIU: Review and assess complaints and allegations, undertake initial research, conduct intake interviews, and advise the IIU Senior Investigator and the Head of Internal Investigations in decisions related to case conversion; Co-lead and/or lead, as appropriate, preliminary inquiries and investigations in an objective, thorough, and timely manner, producing thorough and high-quality analytical pieces, formulating investigative plans and strategies; Comprehensively manage case files, update case-related records and corresponding hard files, including opening new case files in INT's Case Management System (CMS), maintaining case chronologies, updating case files, and closing case files;...
