Programme Policy Officer (Protection & AAP) Niamey, Niger (International Consultant). KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not All-inclusive) Support WFP Program Unit roll-out the WFP Niger Protection and AAP Action Plan 2021-2022 and the PSEA Action Plan; In the framework of the school-feeding project “Bring Back Girls to Education”, ensure, in collaboration with the program teams that the results of the baseline protection and gender analysis are taken into consideration in the formulation or revision of project activities in order to eliminate barriers to the education of girls in the targeted areas; support teams in conducting focus group discussion and support the development of a child-friendly complaint and feed-back mechanism; Integrate Protection in programme tools, as part of the protection action plan for the Country Office. The Protection Officer will work with relevant units in the Country Office to ensure the integration of protection considerations into relevant programme tools, including assessment, targeting, M & E, and reporting tools while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive data; Provide training/workshop and Supervision to WFP personnel and partners especially those who are field based, on protection mainstreaming, principled programming, accountability to affected populations, PSEA and their...
