As an Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the financial records of the company. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, supporting the preparation of financial reports, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Process and record financial transactions accurately, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reports. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Prepare and maintain various financial reports, statements, and schedules, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Contribute to the preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes, while staying up-to-date with relevant tax regulations. Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor invoices, payment processing, and customer billing.
