WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Partnerships & Communication Develop and strengthen partnerships in support of WFP strategic objectives, including with government donors, private sector, and international financial institutions; maintain effective relationships through appropriate channels; Prepare Talking Points and Briefing Notes ahead of conferences, meetings with Donors and/or Government stakeholders, donors’ field visits, attending where required; Support the development and update of the Unit’s strategic documents including the Partnerships Action Plan (PAP) and Resources Mobilization pipeline.; Contribute to the management of the existing portfolio of partnerships, providing regular reporting, and continuing the partnerships through effective communication and networking Proactively contribute donors’ intelligence and stewardship highlighting fundraising opportunities and soliciting contributions, to maintain and increase funding from new and traditional donors; Conduct prospect research to identify new private sector entities that can help achieve WFP’s strategic objectives and manage these opportunities effectively in order to increase positive outcomes; Support the Partnerships Unit in the development of high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, donor reports (mid-term, annual, or end of...
