Maintenance Lead

We are looking for a Maintenance Lead. The Maintenance Lead ensures proper maintenance and use of WASH equipment, provide guidance on appropriate techniques and materials for hand pump repairs and provide training for maintenance helpers. Organize a follow up system for wells monitoring and maintenance and community needs. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a variety of maintenance on the wells – skilled duties involving in the inspection, diagnosis, pump issues, repair and servicing of field and shop equipment, Repairs and maintains pumps and wells, Organizes and conducts pump testing using various head and flow instruments for well, Installs, maintains, and repairs equipment, hydraulic, Ensures timely and accurate completion of preventative maintenance activities, maintains detailed record keeping on maintenance and management pumps, Requisitions necessary tools, equipment and supplies, Rebuilds existing pumps, wells facilities. conduct monitoring visit to follow up functionality of water committee, Building relationship with local authorities and communities for smooth project implementation Responds to emergency situations as necessary, Works to ensure the Community’s safety water provision is carried out, Performs related duties as assigned.
