Duties and Responsibilities Under the overall guidance of the Resident Representative and direct supervision of the Deputy Resident Representative/Programme, the Conflict Prevention and Recovery specialist will be responsible for the smooth running of UNDP’s Sub-office of the Central and Eastern region of CAR located in Bambari and adequate supervision of field-based team, and be responsible for the sound finance and administrative management of the sub-office in accordance with relevant UNDP rules and procedures. S/he will be responsible for fostering collaboration within and outside the team, with UNDP partners, MINUSCA and other UN Agencies working in Central and Eastern region of CAR while demonstrating client orientation. S/he will work in close collaboration with programme, operations and project teams in the Country Office, operations staff in other UN Agencies and the local authorities to successfully deliver UNDP services in the area of operations.
