The soil surveyo r will handle field survey activities to be implemented by Centre for Soil and Fertilizer Research in Africa (CESFRA) recently launched by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. He/she will use modern satellite tools and determine pre-sampling points before soil sampling takes place, and also check them on the ground. The specific activities of the surveyor are the following: Prepare field soil sampling methodology for field workers. Delineate cultivated and arable lands in a certain area. After consulting various international methodologies, propose sampling intensity for both cultivated and arable lands. Plot pre-sampling locations on a map. Supervise field sampling by stakeholders.
