Job Summary: The ACA Conference Sponsorship Manager and Events Planner will assess and conceptualize the ACA’s needs and desires for a variety of conferences and events and will make all arrangements necessary to execute the ACA’s desired vision and goal. The ACA is the American Cultural Association, parent organization of the American Language Centers (ALCs) of Morocco. Supervisory Responsibilities: Hires, trains, manages, and schedules event volunteers and support staff Duties & Responsibilities: Consults with ACA to assess and understand their needs for the event; areas of discussion and consultation include sponsorship, staffing, meeting rooms, convention halls, ballrooms, hospitality suites, hotel rooms, catering, signage, programs, music, security, display areas, and other specialized requirements Compiles and maintains a list of prospective external sponsors, participants, and invited speakers Creates and manages sponsorship packages (e.g. bronze, silver, gold) and contribution levels and actively recruits sponsors to sign up for them Manages orders and necessary logistics for sponsored byproducts, gifts and print materials, such as flyers, signs and banners Promotes the annual All-ACA Conference to external sponsors, and manages all aspects of external participation in the conference, including...
