SESOMO SERVICES is looking for one of it’s client a Tax and fixed assets accountant (Comptable fiscaliste). Location: KINSHASA Purpose: Account for fixed asset, work in progress and investments in accordance with established accounting policies. Account for and settle taxation, duties payable to tax authorities (DGDA, DGI, DGRAD) and receivable from customers. Check tax provisions versus invoices, fill related form and make the payment in due date. Dimensions: Annual budgets directly controlled or indirectly influenced Other (External contact) Tax authorities PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Taxes Control of taxes provisions vs invoices Payment of taxes on time Reconcile all taxes accounts Follow up on taxes issues. Assets Recording of assets, assets additions, assets disposals, assets reclassifications, assets transfers and assets write-offs Calculation of depreciation charges, maintaining historic depreciation record Maintain Assets Register Reevaluation of Assets Reconcile the Register with the books HSSE Ensure that Group HSEQ standards and policy are adhered by Tax and Fixed Asset Accountant Key Challenges: Payment of taxes on time to avoid penalties (business of day to day) Integrity of tax amount to pay Reconcile the Register vs the Books Reevaluation...
