Key functions and responsibilities : Integrated Monitoring, Evaluation & Research Plan (IMEP) Ensure that the Country Office and national partners use a well-prioritized and realistic plan of research, monitoring and evaluation activities that will provide the most relevant and strategic information to manage the Country Programme, including tracking and assessing UNICEF’s distinct contribution. The Customs Risk Management Expert duties and responsibilities will include: The expert will be responsible for the following: Assessing the existing risk management framework and procedures within the tax administration. Identifying potential areas of improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with cross-border trade. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including customs officers, trade partners, and other government agencies to gather insights and data for risk analysis. Developing risk assessment models and tools to evaluate the likelihood and impact of various risk factors on customs operations. Implementing risk management protocols and procedures to streamline customs processes and enhance compliance with regulatory requirements.
