The Role: Due to our continued growth, we are expanding our team of Technical Project Managers to work with our rapidly developing client base. Leading from the front, you will be responsible and accountable for the onboarding, implementation, and enablement of new customers within time and budget, while delivering technical oversight and managing customers to drive initial success and an implementation that scales long-term. Blending strong technical competency with a consultative approach to customers, you will work seamlessly within internal and external teams to ensure every Zoovu customer goes live on-time with a solution that is properly integrated, documented, and provides a solid foundation for continued growth. African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project on Public Financial Governance (RISPFG). The Short-Term Expert /Consultant will assist ATAF to develop a database of firm level tax statistics obtained from African countries on indicators related to the taxation of the digital economy, under Pillar1 and 2 of the OECD Inclusive Framework. The expert will also help the Domestic Resource Mobilisation team at ATAF to develop analytics tools that can be customised to the needs of African countries and used to analyse the firm level data from African tax administrations. The expert will help develop selected ATAF members’ skills in collecting the necessary data for analysis of the implications of the OECD Inclusive Framework Pillar Two Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules.

Background Over the last decade, the four countries around Lake Chad Basin, Cameroon, Chad, Niger, and Nigeria have experienced unprecedented crises exacerbated by repeated incidences of violence from the Boko Haram terrorist group. In response to the situation, the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC), in partnership with African Union (AU) Commission with support from UNDP, developed the Regional Strategy for the Stabilization, Recovery & Resilience of the Boko Haram-affected Areas of the Lake Chad Basin (RSS). The RSS provides a comprehensive, integrated, and multilevel framework for overall stabilization through nine inter-related pillars, including military support to the MNJTF, humanitarian assistance, and critical interventions to secure early recovery and long-term resilience. UNDP has developed the Regional Stabilization Facility (RSF) for the Lake Chad Basin region in support of the RSS implementation. The RSF is set up with four national windows, one window for each of the countries affected by the crisis: Cameroon, Chad, Niger, and Nigeria. The four national windows cover stabilization activities under the primary stabilization component.
