Standard job description: Protection Associate Organizational Setting and Work Relationships The Protection Associate normally reports to the Protection Officer or the Senior Protection Officer. The incumbent monitors protection standards, operational procedures and practices in protection delivery in line with international standards and provides functional protection support to information management and programme staff. The specialist will work with government agencies and stakeholders to develop effective tax policies aimed at improving the health outcomes of populations by reducing the demand for tobacco. Tasks: Coordination of research and analysis on tobacco tax policies and regulations in various countries and produce resources to support and guide the developing and implementation of effective tobacco tax policies and strategies by the countries.
