Media for Peacebuilding Advisor

We are looking for an experienced Media for Peacebuilding Advisor to spend 12 months providing technical advice on programme design, content and quality, as well as mentoring and building the capacity of the Search media team and partners. The Media for Peacebuilding Advisor will be supervised by the Country Programme Manager and will work in close collaboration with the Project Manager and media team. This position will be based in Bangui, Central African Republic, with travel to other project sites in the country. Duties: Provide Common Ground journalism training for Search media team and local partners; Provide regular mentoring and coaching to Associations des Femmes Professionnelles de la Communication (AFPC) journalists and Search media team; Provide training in new equipment to media team and radio stations as needed.
