L’officier Santé et Nutrition est le responsable de l’appui/ suivi de l’offre de soins de qualité par les formations sanitaires appuyées par IRC. Il appuie les agents de santé à consulter des malades, le soignant à administrer la médication nécessaire et le responsable de la pharmacie déjà gérer le stock; il réalise de visites de supervisions dans les formations sanitaires pour identifier les insuffisances et apporter l’encadrement nécessaire aux agents de santé en vue d’une amélioration de la qualité de soins. Il collecte les données des structures sanitaires et participe à leur compilation et analyse pour dégager des points d’action visant à améliorer la qualité du programme. L’officier Santé et Nutrition travaille au sein d’une équipe de supervision, qui est placée sous la responsabilité du Senior Health and Nutrition Officer.
