Principle Cloud Engineer- Virtual EMEA

The Role We are looking for a Principal Cloud Engineer to join our virtual Cloud team supporting Solera’s key public cloud environments for our global market. This Principal Cloud Engineer will be a part of a team of 15+ engineers who are responsible to operate and maintain Solera applications to production environments in a standardized way, across Soleras state of the art datacenters and within multiple public clouds. They should have no problem rolling up their sleeves to aid the teams to deliver, helping gather requirements or diving deep into data modelling with business analysts. What You’ll Do Work collaboratively with other operations leads to implement and maintain Solera products and projects in public cloud environments such as AWS, AZURE, GCP, and OCI Refine and transform operational processes in highly available enterprise class systems Participate in an on-call rotation along with other senior members of the Global IT Operations team. Provide engineering execution excellence, as well as technical vision and direction, to ensure the public cloud team is aligned with the strategy of the company Create and deliver executive and c-level presentations to support buy-in and communicate goals.
