Reporting to the HSE Manager, the ERT Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing emergency response plan and procedures at Lafigué Project and following up with all HODs. Missions: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in Emergency Response strategies, systems, and practices to optimize effectiveness Develop and improve emergency response plans for critical hazards and risks site wide Continuously monitor and audit the performance of ERT and ensure that all strategic and departmental objectives are delivered and the operational readiness for Emergency Response Team Coordinate and supervise emergency response crews by responding as officer-in-command of ERT vehicles, equipment, and response team members as per Emergency Management Plan (EMP) by dealing with emergency incidents e.g., fires, rescues, chemical spillages and releases, emergency medical and other humanitarian services Research, develop and recommend specifications for tools, vehicles, and equipment for ERT Review operational incidents to ensure effective emergency response to incidents and provide inputs on improvements and adjustments where necessary Assist the ERT Coordinator with the implementation of the site-wide fire safety management systems and that it is maintained in accordance with the NFPA standard.
