Reporting to the Deputy Regional Director, the Programme Associate works with and provides support to the members of the Strategic Unit Teams (Coordination and Planning, Partnership and Resources mobilization, Communication) in the development and implementation of effective programmes consistent with UN Women rules and regulations.  The Programme Associate contributes to research, financial management, and programme implementation including providing necessary operational, administrative and programmatic support. Job Overview/Summary: The Technical Advisor (TA), Livelihoods will take a lead role supporting IRC countries (with a portfolio primarily, but may not be exclusively, focused on West Africa) on crafting and implementing evidence-based projects to improve livelihoods programming to high quality standards with a specific focus on climate-smart agricultural and livestock related livelihoods.
