Job Description The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. The IRC is present in West Africa (WA) since the 1990s and is currently operating in Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. The IRC in WA implements programs through the arc of crisis, emergency, humanitarian, and development contexts. Job Overview With funding from the United States Agency for International Development’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) leads the PRO-Sahel consortium. Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) are the IRC’s sub-recipient partners. PRO-Sahel provides integrated humanitarian protection services (child protection; GBV prevention and response; information, counseling, and analysis; access to justice; civil documentation) to vulnerable communities in the Central Sahel countries...
